Waxing Or Laser?

We’re often asked which is best for hair removal, waxing or laser. As most of our clients know, one of the things we do really well is laser hair removal.  For this, we primarily use our incredibly effective medical-grade IPL laser. This means that typically only about six sessions or fewer are needed to provide long-term results. We also provide a consultation beforehand (it’s free) which allows you to know for sure whether the treatment will work before you pay any money. Typically you will see results after your first session, and for most people we will recommend a course of six treatments. This usually gets you long-term results that you’ll be very happy with.

We’re often asked which treatment is better, and the simple answer is that it depends on what you want, what your budget is, and crucially what kind of hair you have. Fair hair does not ‘fair’ as well when it comes to laser treatments, as the process works by heating the pigment within the hair follicle. The less pigment in the follicle, the less there is for the laser to “hit”, so it can fail to completely remove the follicle.  In these cases, we will always recommend waxing during your free consultation.

What our clients love about our treatments is that we treat you from the inside outwards. It’s not just about getting the treatment done, it’s about getting it done as effectively as possible while ensuring you have a good experience.

We’ve actually been told by some of our clients that they look forward to coming back in for these treatments because they’re seeing results and they love the vibe of our clinic. I think that says a lot.

In addition to laser hair removal, we also provide hair removal using our incredible Waxing services which use the finest resins as well as natural ingredients to give a better result while reducing pain. We also use a special wax with aromatherapy which minimises pain and pulls the hair out from the root without damaging your skin. This can make the experience as pleasant as possible (given the circumstances!)
